people make the people, the underwear is to wrap the package, some ribbons work on a bottle of wine but not on a book.............
Steer clear, the flowers pressies romance thingy is fine for the couple, outsiders its over stepping the mark where it gets to the emotional rather than sticking to the physical

I do agree BUT does their choice of underwear the you anything about the person?

Deciding someone's personality by their underwear is like using a astrological sign to choose a career. I've seen swingers in tight whities and a pro sex after marriage girl in a thong.
it tells you if they can choose underwear that suits then or not smile

Guys , also remember that this was my first time. I was nervous, hesitant, excited, and a few other emotions at the same time. I spent a lot of time checking other people out for a few reasons. I wanted to see if there was anyone there that msy know me, I wanted to see if I was the ugliest/fattest/most out of shape/smallest dick etc etc in the place . I spoke to exactly 4 people the couple above, the doorperson and the bartender and thst was only to order a drink!
I spent the rest of the time "people-watching" - pretty much what PiB does but with the eyes of a newbie!

Welcome and congrats on taking the dive, :P wishing you lots of juicy pleasure smile
Personally I think most people would notice if they are the only one in an environment, I know I would and from past experience at functions in Tokoza etc. I did feel like a sore thumb until someone broke the ice for me. Just like I noticed that I was the only one in the whole street dressed up like a chicken as a teenager doing promotional work.
Ok, but was one of your first actions after this / these experiences, to go on line and tell other people?
Online didn't exist and and there are no common interest forums that I know of for the Thokoza etc functions, if there are I am not a member of any, so answer is no, however if I were I probably would.
I did post a pic on facebook though of the one, does that count?
I suppose it does. Did you also add a caption regarding the race ratio's? Not 100% sure the people of Thokoza would be all that impressed if you did, but who knows.
I think the pic made the race ratio quite clear, as they say a picture paints 1000 words.
As for them not being impressed, usually at these things they do make a thing of it, in the positive sense as in 'wow, welcome, you took the trouble, thank you....' etc. no comments of 'what the hell are you doing here variety.....'
P.S. I'm not in the habit of putting captions to photos

Well I think swinging is like FISHING. Everyone wants that perfect catch, but like fishing sometimes you use the wrong bite and sometimes there is just no fish were you are costing. And sometimes you do catch fish, but it is not the fish the right size you are looking for. So you throw it back. But you are happy you did catch a fish. So you try again and again. Only to find that the fish you had in mind just don't want to bite.
So the morale of the story is, be happy if you do land up catching a fish or pack up and move to another spot.
Am I right or wrong?

Still trying to catch a fish, at this point any fish will count lol

Cant agree more. Keep in mind that there are a hell of a lot of fish, and (sorry, I know we have said it many times so it is probably boring by now) after our erm many years of experience we can say that its also an odds game, the longer you at it and the more people you meet the more people/couples you will get to know that are closer to what you are looking for.
Back to the important stuff, I think extended version of 'purple rain' puts prince right up there in the top two handfulls (like boobs, unless they of my lovey's) of guitarists (i say two handfulls as a single best is impossible), just like november rain (to me at least ) is slash's definitive guitar piece and parisian walkways (extended) is garry moore's definitive piece smile
