Hi SDMR, well I would be one of the "viewers" (of the post), irrespective of the subject matter (but particularly of the Dogging posts!

What I am highlighting (as per my own observations) is that the heading of the thread seems to determine the "number of views" The more "out there" the heading, the more views, so in my own deduction that would possibly indicate what the majority of people (who peruse the forums) are actually interested in.
The more 'out there', be it bizarre, perceived kink/degenerate, obscene, gory, bloody, horrific etc the more people will, at the very least, take a quick peek to satisfy their curiosity. A nice example is accidents, the worse it looks the more people cluster together to get a better view, the more bloody the front page photo of a news paper the higher the circulation. We have in essence not moved on much since the days of watching people fight off lions in the Colosseum.
The irony is that most people would deny looking or being curious, they will also criticize those that do (themselves without admission) but would happily and enthusiastically spam you with you tube clips of some hapless drunk falling in front of a truck/train/into a sawmill etc.
