You can also hit "report" and tell a mod that, in fact the profile is not a couple - we change it then.
It should also be noted that there is no mechanism on the SA site for a profile to change it's OWN type. If you try, it gives you some weird line about paying 7 pounds GB to change it. Only Mods can do that here, so help the guys out and report it - maybe (in the odd case) their status has genuinely changed (which is why the profile says they split) and they don't know what to do about it.

ok you know what guys I know its deceptive to be doing that with your profile but honestly I thought about doing it too cos single guys are getting a bad wrap on SH. And I think (my opinion only) they get the bad wrap because they write to couples and either the couples aren't looking for single guys but the single guys persist and that annoys the couples or maybe because the single guys act like a chop and the few couples who would play with single guys are turned off completely by the bad apples. So let me make a few points:
1. No it isn't right that they are being deceptive
2. Yes reality is there are less couples willing to play with a single guy much less the guy passing the filtering mechanisms put out by the couples
3. Here there are also less females who wanna play with single guys. They want couples mostly
4. There is no way the moderators could possibly find all the bad apples and ostracise them so there are gonna be bad apples
5. I am a single guy that just loves MMF & FFM and I go and meet the couples in real life and I show up on time after a shower lol. So we are not all bad
6. And in my opinion the site was setup so couples can explore with single guys too but lets be honest the numbers don't work out for single guys here 7. Maybe someone in the know could actually suggest some FREE yes FREE sites where single guys can go talk to ladies. Because the ones I have been a member of have ladies who receive hundreds of messages from guys everyday so the " strike rate " is very very low
7. Then there is the demographics (to put it mildly lol... geez lets not go there)
I will however give the deceptive single guy types one thing, drum role please cos here it comes lol,

And the guy who has a "couple" profile but states his wife is disabled and therefore cannot satisfy him. Surely he should then be reclassified "single". We've come across him!
