What makes good album or profile pictures? Gratuitous shot of penises and gynaecological shots of vaginas? Or kitsch boudoir shots? Or is it the shots where people have actually rented a studio and a photographer?
Or is it normal everyday shots? The ones that aren't trying too hard. The ones that leave a bit to the imagination. They're sexy but not over-the-top.
I personally am of the opinion that if I wanted to look at dicks and vaginas I'll sooner go to my favourite porn site. At least there the shots are decently taken and art directed. But perhaps I'm in the minority here.
I would genuinely like to hear people's views on this given the fact that the attention you receive on this site is based largely on the pictures you upload.
I share the same view, keep the excess private part shot in private albums. I also enjoy the sex pics but they actually also put me off contact when it gets excessive.
Personally I like a nice mix of everyday shots and some sexy pics with the fun bits covered, that's more exciting.
I prefer tasteful sexy pics, mystery is sexy. I try doing that lol hope it comes across as such though. I just love love love torso shots of well built men. They beat penis shots hand down in my opinion. Then again maybe thats just me,the guy im seeing said its refreshing that i never asked for a pic of his penis.
@ Charlieme And that I did, rushed to your profile to view your pics....SADLY no pics, except a genital one.
I do agree pics are very important, as a NON photographer, but I know what I LIKE and think is nice pics. I agree back ground on photos tend to show more of us than what we intend to show.
Genitals IN YOUR FACE shots are really also no NO for me personally, but saying that I also LIKE raunchy and naughty pics, but I also always try and cover up what I feel Is slightly private, for me that is.
A well written profile is something I LIKE, it tells me about a person, does he/she know him or herself and it does tell me if we have something in common.
A pity that NO ONE seems to write or read anymore these days!!!
A previous forum Lee posted, also touches a very important issue, grammar and spelling.
Now as an Afrikaans speaking person my grammar in English is not that good, but I do thank goodness for Spell checks.
