I hope the content of this post is as relevant as the title. Chatrooms, ladies and gentleman. A virtual space for individuals to share thoughts, to voice their concerns, to laugh, to cry and most commonly 'talk kak'. Its a space I feel comfortable, and enjoy myself. Ive made friends. And sure....if definitely pissed some people off. Ill admit that. But recently a topic has literally gotten out of hand. On numerous occasions the pool would get heated , as one member of the room voices their unhappiness because most of the cams are that of masturbating men. Hold on....let me finish. I personally feel. The site , its principles and the lifestyle should is accommodates to all. Regardless of ones sexual orientation, everyone should feel they are able and welcome to express themselves (in a matter of speaking) when they feel the need. Who am I to say that cam's are reserved only for those who have specific genitals? Exactly...to each its own. I do enjoy the regular appearance of a lovely lady on camera. The intensity of a couple. But Im also not fond of watching 'adam' furiously petting his snake. Or spanking the monkey, or stroking the lizard. Whichever term involving wildlife you prefer. For that reason...I avoid those cameras.

You learn very quickly which profiles are not exactly what or who they say they are. It may say couple...but c'mon. Lets be honest we all know the Miss's knows not she is part of a 'couples' profile. But some conscious – deprived individuals have these profiles as a pre-historic trap to catch unsuspecting 'ladies'...he he , sometimes both are in for a nasty surprise.
So I do understand the excitement of a noticing a profile thats on camera. And it appears to be something they are into....Aaaaand another guy is wanking....Retina's everywhere are at risk. I know...and its not a big thing for me...more like 'meh' and I close the window and anticipate the next one (yes I lurk).
Other more seasoned members and acquaintances in the pool however are getting very annoyed with the constant complaining about the matter. Which is understandable...they've all come to accept. But more recently joined members haven't.
1) This creates tension in the pool, and as entertaining as it is. No one enjoys a room full of fuming members, too worked up to enjoy themselves.
2) The 'couple' profiles...as annoying and unethical as it is. (my opinion) I cant think of a solution that wont result in a logistical nightmare. Seems the best would be to let it just be.....

1. You don't have to look at these cams. 2. I don't hear people whinning in the Chatroom. 3. Do you cam? 4. Plenty of sexy ladies cam all the time. Good post but we've heard it all before as have most that visit both the Forum and Chatroom , the majority deciding to remain in both.

This is all good and well, the only problem being that one individual does not take too kindly to another individual not sharing his or her particular opinions. While I cannot say anything regarding the Chatroom as I have not spent more than 3 minutes at any given time in there, the Forum (as Irish mentioned) has a similarly identical reaction from members, and while it can be a little long in the tooth sometimes, it often serves as a good way to see some of the contributors "true colours"
My old argument was always, "Show me I am Wrong, don't Tell me I am Wrong" as I have no doubt that I cannot possibly have it all figured out, but that more often than not just lands up with another person saying they are "offended" and the topic at hand gets passed over . . . . (reference to your "debate" part of posting)
As for your comments about the couple profiles in the Chatroom. . . . . on the forum it's 90% about the "single male"
Im not sure about the culture in the forum posts. But feel a slightly hesitant sense of excitement. But now I know Ive still got a lot to learn from this platform...perhaps I was a bit too overly "inspired" to share my thoughts? Perhaps I just did it from the wrong angle...regardless , I take what you folks have said in a ...constructive way.
I wanted to do two things with this post.
1) Address the stubborn disregard for other people's preferences. And lending my support to the freedom that, I believe the site offers.
2) Create a good "first impression" to other forum contributors...
I guess im still unsure on whether I was successful in doing any of that at all....
It's my impression (and I may be wrong) that the forum and the chatroom aren't generally used by the same groups of people. So while your post is cool, I was like meh.. whatever.
I don't really go into the chatroom - can't be arsed to wade through all the "hi" and "howzit" messages to try and figure out who is saying what and whether they even have personalities.
I much prefer the measured and relaxed pace of the forum conversation. Don't know how others feel, but I'm rather indifferent about what people put on their cams
What SDMR and Lee have said is spot on.
I do go in the chat rooms often and at night. If you are not part of the "click" nobody will chat to you. When you greet some might only greet back and that where it ends.
With regards to the cams, if the profile shows blue around the profile pic then you know it's a male. If it's pink then it's a female. If it's green then it's a couple. So then click on the pink or green cams. If it's only a male on the couple's cam then you can close it.
We have the same scenarios here in the forums. There will be 1 post made and you can see that it's been viewed 35 times but with no comments. Find what you're comfortable with and carry on with that.
Like SDMR said "Show me I am Wrong, don't Tell me I am Wrong". There is no wrong and right. It's about what you would accept as right and wrong. Stay true to yourself.

I understand exactly what is meant with the fact that the Forum has a completely different community than the Chatrooms...Ive seen only a few profiles actively partaking in discussions here...

2 if you have a problem with it, we don't care
3 if you want to watch porn you can go to a porn site, there are even live sex sites
4 those that put on a show are exhibitionists and the show is for those that WANT to watch
5 the exhibitionists have the right to go on cam and do whatever they want (provided its legal, which with the current legislation about transmitting any naked images in Sefrica is debatable),
6 the ones watching on cam are voyeurs and by going on cam the exhibitionists give the voyeurs the right to watch them, this is not to be confused with the right to save and distribute the vids, (for that you need a release form)
7 The voyeurs are under no obligation to watch the exhibitionists, so if you dont want to watch the guy wanking on cam then dont click on his cam ffs
I found your post quite insightful and very entertaining (even though that was not your intention)... The pool was my place for a long time and I was loved as much as I was hated there. I have a big mouth and I use it... I realised very quick that most in the pool are "very brave behind a keyboard and monitor". In between all the debate and mud slinging that occasionally occurs, there still pops in some perve asking "any single ladies up for a lunchtime quickie today?"...
This is a far better place to be...
