We (my lady and I) are amazed at what a lot of cpl's/ppl consider athletic. To us it means exactly that...an athletic body! Not a plump body, not a couple kg's overweight body or not even an in-weight body that is not in shape. There's a whole bunch of profiles claiming to have athletic bods...but it ain't so. To us athletic means ripped abs, tight ass, good definition overall. Someone that you can actually see is athletic and active. Not saying we are athletic, we don't claim to be.
Just stating our observations...or should we remain forever silent?

Best advice I can offer, is don't let it bother you too much. Some people see things differently (I see them your way) but we are all different in our views . .
Yeah - we've had a forum convo about this before - the end conclusion in a nutshell - we appeal to Admin in the new (soon to be released - currently being tested on other sites/countries in the group) site there be more "factual" descriptions to choose from rather than subjective lables to choose from - ie. I am 5'5" 72kgs, black hair, curvy, 36D rather than just "average, medium" Personally I believe that just because your site is free doesn't mean any old random idiot should be able to sign up - the registration should be tedious, comprehensive, restrictive and demanding. And then we'll all know that if you bothered to sign up - you were willing to make an effort to get through the process; and Obviously then you REALLY want to swing not just looking for random free sex. Seems like a decent compromise to me. I think there should be very little to see of the site if you aren't signed up properly either...Protect the community.... I've been thinking so much about this that I'm almost ready to start my own site!

Actually, we were just making our observations known, not really looking to open a can of worms (so to say) but now the can be open and the contents spilled...
We have chatted to many cpls and met one or two, AND, have been thoroughly disappointed (well almost) at the folk we have come across. Ancient pics that do not depict the guys you actually meet, complete misrepresentation as to body descriptions, and a whole lot more of absolute and downright bullshitting. Wow...we on the verge of packing it in!
Back to those who have responded so far, thanx for comments, we now at least realise there are some who have come across similar circumstances.

the word athletic does leave lots of room for interpretation . im sure an olympic shot put champ would consider himself athletic ( being an athlete and all that ) but he would look nothing like an olympic cyclist ( who looks like a crack head on a diet) .i would only consider myself an athlete if salad dodging ever became an olympic sport
The funny thing is,I do tell people I am fat as in wobbly with lotsa love handles and ugly as hell, they sort of do not believe that !!!!
Should I tell them I am a perfect little barbie doll , they would and DO believe that...what is one to do then???
My athletic body image might differ from the next persons image.
After I perved Mrs cpl2play photos, I must say, Athletic not so much, but slim and VERY Sexy for sure!!! Mr cpl2play photo only shows a dim photo of a face pic. Nice looking from what I could see.
Well in my line of work when i see Athletic people they are usually on deaths door step. So i like some meat then the people look healthy. In any case Athletic people only want to receive and never give. And they always think they are Gods gift to everyone and they can say and do like they want and screw other people.

Well it human nature to tip the scales in your favour. I think its best not to think about it to much, people still want to be sexually attractive and when you see most media today its always six packs and toned bodies so that what people tick hoping to get a few more messages.
I'm very scared to get back on the treadmill though, I think I've lost my edge that I had in high school.
I think I'm going to change mine to athletic lol seeing that Mr K is keeping me fit ...(I mean with stretching and training not sex u pervs lol) (ok ok and very physical sex) no but seriously I know some people that say muscular and thern they are thin as rakes...maybe he meant his other muscle I dunno
Also the asset thing do they mean like penises and boobs?? I just chose large and large. Mr K is very well built and broad so not small or thin framed he is big but also he is athletic and muscular, see so I think it can mean different things to people.
I think athletic describes a body "look" as has been discussed here.
I lead an active lifestyle, work out more than most people I know, and yet I still only have an average body on a tiny (short) lady... I can do some awesome things with some of my muscles though.... does that make me muscular ;)

A lot of very interesting responses... but most seem to perceive what "athletic" means...so how cum (oops) come some don't. Puzzling!
Anyway, all you guys who did have something to put by...thank you! We have noticed it's always the same folk who add to anything posted in the forum, just as it's always the same folk chatting in the chatroom (we/I do not). Rather use the forum as we find the communication a little more...hard to say...not so shallow! Wow, certainly leaving ourselves open to speculation here, time to get back into the wings.
Our whole point here was misrepresentation of oneself. If you are serious about having some fun.....you will be found out when you meet someone, so basically, tell it like it is! There almost certainly will be someone who will be interested in you as a Cpl or single no matter your body shape or size.
Making an issue of grouping people, based on looks is just not fair Joyrider... We have met people we will never spend a naked moment with in a Jacuzzi, yet they are awesome people and we actually prefer spending time with them over anyone else. Yes it seems like meeting likeminded lifestyle couples are not easy, and we agree, but we still judge people on how we get along...beautiful or good looking is great but only if that's the way you present yourself, looks "may" help after that...
So please don't "group" people based on appearance, looks or otherwise.

Too true! It took us almost 3 and a half years to find a play couple who we really enjoy playing and socialising with!
I agree with you cpl2play, there is a fine line...
That is the one thing that youngsters have over more mature Adults...
It is as well much easier to get toned.

I do how ever agree pics are so misleading, But then I have to like someone`s smell, the way they move,talk and I do have a big hand and foot fetish so if the hands are not well cared for, the feet will look worse, once the shoes are off and I look at the feet, well, I will walk if there is a problem with their feet.
But they are allowed to have a *bier pensie* or a *Blessie* and they can have thin legs, I really like a person for whom he or she is!!
Guys it was one of the most confusing tings to fill in on the profile page as I did still do not really know what constitute size as asked. I know I am definitely not slim, I was a good athlete and can with a bit of practice play better than the average person, I just don't have the time for sports at present and I carry extra weight so could not say athletic. Although I have muscle, they are not defined as those of body builders, I wear a size 56 jacket and a size 42 pants so I can not say I'm muscular. I was about to say I am large but then thought although I am overweight I do not have rolls and rolls of fat not am I six foot four.
That's why I gave my size as Medium
@ Tog_team You sound like a nice cuddly Teddy Bear!!!!! Most certainly you are not Medium at all!!! Not if you are 6`4" you will make most men little dwarfs next to you!! I myself would feel TINY standing next to you.
