I have been asked if I'm Portuguese, Brazilian, Indian, Greek, Italian just to name a few - not that it really matters, but just to set the story straight - I am a very tanned, white male. I'm reasonably fit and toned, but definitely not a buff gym guy. Most of my exercise includes rock climbing and swimming in the sea.

What I'm looking for is likeminded people who have also acknowledged that loneliness kinda sucks, and that it's pretty hard to avoid in this day and age.

I value intelligence and nuanced conversations - people who are able to say the things that most don't, seriously grab my attention.

A bit more about me... for those interested in reading this far.

I've often felt like I'm watching from the sidelines - when others were out partying and hooking up in school and Uni, I was stuck in the books working on a project. Boring, I know... So yes, I'm a bit of a nerd but I like it that way. At times, studying physics and chemistry feels a bit like you're peeking under the Universe's skirt - how could that not be fun?

For years I've felt misunderstood and that I don't gel in the usual social circles of Cape Town. But from reading the stories on this site and chatting to some awesome people, I've realised I just haven't met enough of the right people in my life.

I am so looking forward to this next chapter of loosening the "shackles of shame" that I've somehow acquired as a more sensitive guy. I've realised that with the right community of people who share the same values of insatiable curiosity and lust for life (kink friendly people - I'm referring to you!) one can start to feel a whole lot less lonely in the world.

YES to: starting with a casual coffee or drinks. Massage (I especially love giving). Safe-sex / Protection. Hygiene (smelling good is sexy). Bonding over shared music loves. Gentleness. Sometimes gentleness as a pre-requisite to less gentle, but consensual, fun - but when push comes to shove, we're all humans so that should come first.

NO to: pushing boundaries (feeling safe and comfortable is important to be, and to know the other feels the same way). Financial manipulation (I understand some people enjoy this, but its not for me).
