Does the Groups section really work?

Looking through the Groups section, there are many groups whose last activities date back years ago. Do these groups sections actually have any value if they are so outdated? Pehaps a groups tab should feature on the main menu to revive such if it is worth it? What do other folks think?

Agreed . Most groups are inactive

Many inactive groups. Just a handful with regular posts. Also found that sometimes posts are not sorted with newest on top. Not sure if anyone else have the same experience, maybe not.
