I have noticed quite a few couples posting ads to meet up with single guys .... however, the guys must host ??
What is it with that ?
Sure, in my opinion, couples would feel more than comfortable to meet at thier own place ?
Or .... if I am wrong ... please explain this .. especially couples?

We have never asked a single guy to host however I dont see a problem with it, a lot of singles have ticked the accommodate field on their profiles. A lot of couples have children or others at home which makes it easier to meet elsewhere.

Many, if not most couples likely have kids. Its also a pretty solid indication that the single guy is, well, actually single, not a husband cheating on their partner without consent.
Quite a few rational reasons tbf.
My take is that it's always better to host anyway. I found this both as a single guy and when playing as a couple (female partner always tended to be more comfortable)

Things tend to vary based on whether or not there kids involved. Most moms, my wife incl, rather leave the nest to explore with single men, than host single men, just not sit right with many moms to displace/inconvenience their kids/invite a single man for sex into the family home, prefer to rather let the kids have comfort of home and we go out.

Which is fair, I would however imagine that those who have kids in the equation to consider would only be arranging play dates around times kids were elsewhere. But yes, like you said things do vary
