i followed the directions as given on the dogging segment, only to find that the place was quiet. not sure if it was for a set time or if i had missed it. the area looks like a nicely isolated yet open place. if we are to get it running then i think that we should put more info on the time. any ideas

Went and had a look at the Sugar Bush site near Three Rivers, mentioned frequently on the Dogging page. Couple of decent spots along the river, particularly near the weir (but possibly a popular fishing spot?). Seems nice and open, out of the way, and thus away from prying eyes (apart from any itinerant fishermen, maybe). Pity there's no shade - could get hot and sunburn your exposed bits in summer!...
If there's anyone using this site regularly, please send me a message? It's a long way to travel for a remote possibility of a meet-up, so would be good to make an arrangement beforehand. To the guy / couple who is promoting Sugar Bush on the Dogging page, it's good that you include the specific date, but an approx time (morning / afternoon / late afternoon) would also be useful. I was there on a proposed date (4/6/2014), but there was nothing going on - maybe I was too early or too late?
Could this become the main spot for Vaal Triangle dogging? With Spider Valley totally unsuitable (very unsafe!), perhaps it's necessary to head east?
