"Arranged Dogging" in the UK due to security issue

I have recently also become a member of the SH site in the UK (www.swingingheaven.co.uk) as I love the fact that they have such a big library of stories about dogging (and other activities!). So I've started reading their Dogging Forum posts as well.
It seems that even in the UK, "traditional dogging" as we understand them to practice it (just pitch and start playing at a "recognised dogging spot" and wait for random hook-ups), is becoming a lot less prevalent, due to problems with lots of unsociable types (muggers / robbers / louts / disrupters / and even a few rapists, would you believe!) who have found out about the well-known dogging sites, and now hang about there to make the lives of would-be doggers miserable. Crime there seems to be on the increase.
On their site, they are actively promoting that folks DO NOT advertise specific details of proposed meets (their moderators are actually deleting these posts, as they deem them to pose a threat to people's safety), but rather to make a general announcement of intention such as "keen to meet in the ....... area on Friday night. Anyone interested? Send us a PM and we can provide details", so as to avoid the possibility of having crowds of wannabe watchers and bovver boys pitching up. Police are also increasingly patrolling recognised sites, allegedly NOT to hassle the doggers (that's what the police say), but to apprehend the criminals!
So it looks like "arranged dogging" (in so much as it actually happens here!) is not just a South African phenomenon......
