Hi,
I have been there a couple of time but have not seen any action. Wish there was some. Do you know any other places in and around Germiston?

I go there quite often , but it is just starting up again after the renovations and people need to know that it is up and running .
Problem being the parking is now so open to all and sundry and quite a few people go just for lunch.
I have parked the car and walked inside and had fun in one of the Lapas

Is it true now you can't drive right round the lake you have to park and walk ?
And also I heard the security is a lot more strict ?

Yes Buddy, thats as it stands now , park at the back , the entrance by the school entrance , and then walk.
You can have a bit of fun in the car park if you park in the right place .
I have been to the lapa a couple of times , the other side of the lake , and managed to give head a couple of times , without any interuptions.

Where theres a will theres a way, the lake never seems very busy these days as most guy's to lazy to walk down.

I was there yesterday and walked all around to all the Lapas. No action at all. What is the best time to go and what Lapas should one go to?

I was there yesterday between and , we need to give it time as people are only now begining to realise it is back up and running , the more we go and the more we let people know it is starting up again , things will happen be patient.
Even if you just start to talk to guy's in the car park or on the stretch of road leading to the parking.

I checked out Germiston Lake this past week again, to assess it's suitability for daytime dogging (two years and two days after the renowned "Feather Club meet"!!) now that the renovations are completed.
In my view, it is suitable (not GREAT, but definitely usable) for "arranged dogging" meets, as suggested above by bks_kinkycpl. Because you can no longer just drive in, and thus no longer have the protection / screening of your vehicle, it will always be quite exposed. But the lapa structures provide a degree of screening from unwanted prying eyes You would need to walk in, and I would suggest you walk quite far up towards the western (Golf Course) end, to get away from the higher pedestrian traffic densities nearer the entrance gate. Layabouts (there are some) might see you walking in and be inclined to follow you. But it is quite quiet in the week, so long as it is not school holidays.
There is still some construction / renovation work underway. They seems to be building new braais near the lapas, so there are a few contractors around. There are a few cleaners etc. There are also a couple of security staff walking around (I saw one male and one female), identifiable in their light brown uniforms. Hence the need to have a few extra eyes around to keep a look out. But if the area you use is clear initially, you should be able to see people coming from a distance away (and they would need to be walking too, so not closing on you very quickly).
I would be interested to know if anyone has had any successful dogging meet-ups at Germiston since it re-opened?

was there two weekends ago was quite busy but we managed to find a quite spot on the golf course side and had a fantastic suck and had one spectator that watched us fucking but kept her distance.
