Winks ,,,,the only thing more controversial than single guys

So I have read many profiles stating that they will not respond to generic messages and I understand they are rather impersonal but as a guy who has taken the time to write so many unique sometimes witty some times charming messages ( most of which to profiles whos criteria I meet , and some that I didn't,....         ...I leave this space for your admonishment  ) it's rather disheartening to get no reply .This makes taking the time to tailor a message so much more difficult. Is it unreasonable to expect a reply ( obviously if I am taking a chance by messaging you when I dont meet your criteria then yes I do understand not only do I expect no reply but I normally get blocked ), and I'm not asking for a unique reply, winks can be customised. Why not customise a wink that says thanks but no thanks , or better luck next time  buddy, or the subscriber you have dialled is not available, I don't know something. To those that are not fans of the wink did you know (now I sound like a chappies) you can set your replies to a wink, so if someone winks at you the system doesn't send it to your mailbox but slaps them with a " you lazy bastard type a proper message reply" ok that's not entirely true they do phrase it more diplomatically. We can get into the philosophical question of should someone who detests winks use the automated reply for another topic but my point.....   Wait what is my point .....o yeah my point is there are now ways to auto respond or with the touch of the wink button say thanks but no thanks and surely that's the polite thing to do ?

 Much like the "single" profile option, the "Wink" button is an option provided by the operators of this site.

When one creates a profile, one has to accept the sites terms and conditions . . . . 

Maybe its time people stopped bloody complaining about things they accepted , . , . , . , 

@ash I'm too lazy to type a detailed response, but I agree 100% at least have the decency to respond in some way to the tailored message.

Don't get me wrong I'm a supporter of everyone's right to complain and manage their profile in anyway they choose but there are more effective ways to achieve their ultimate objectives of not receiving winks, but I also have another question , what is the verdict of a customised wink ? Is it also seen as impersonal ? 

I like the idea of a customised and automated reply wink.

It exists , under your mailbox , go to wink settings

I don't like the automated wink option, but unfortunately it is the only option we have.  So it gets used.  Only last night I was scrolling my phone with my left hand and somehow sent 4 winks to a profile that does not fit our criteria.  Talk about embarrassment.  I wonder if I should send an email and apologise to the poor guy for getting his hopes up so high.

I have also personalized my wink, sometimes it is just faster as to write out a complete message just to be blocked by that person without even replying 

We get it continuously. We also get  about 20 of the "I saw your profile, I Would Like to Know More"   messages On a daily bases. I try and be polite and send a reply saying "If you would like to know more... Try read the profile" 

Spoiler Alert -If you read our profile you would of known NOT to send that message in the first place.

What F#%K's me off the most and causes me to not be as polite in my replies is when we have advertised a play date, included what we are looking for and we get these messages

1. "HI" - (Honestly what do you expect the reply would be to that message, Oh please come F#%k my wife)

2. "I saw your ad" - (.... and..)

3. "Ok" - (Ok What....)

NOW mix those in with the 20 Winks* and the 20 I like to know more messages and we have actually missed out on people that we actually could of played with. 

What single guys must understand is the odds are against you when it comes to competition. If you really want to be part of this lifestyle you are going to have to put a bit of effort in.

If you can't put effort in with a message how the hell are you going to put effort in when it comes to playing.

@Ash; let's be honest with each other sending a personal message is Not that much effort when the rewards that you could get are this awesome.

Also be persistent (Not irritating). You never know what changes when it comes to people's preferences. Comment on their pictures send a message from time to time. (Stay fresh in their minds)

Ps: I'm the biggest Fan and Supporter of single guys on this site. I'm the best wingman ever.... Just Help me a Bit!

I agree the effort is 💯 percent worth the reward ,and your profile is clear on the winks , so why not set the auto reply which will do two things , stop all winks from entering your mailbox and send a reply saying you don't like winks ....thus leaving you guys with more time to read our finely crafted works of horny pros....like Hi 😂😂

The biggest problem is that some people cannot read, If I read a profile that states they do not do winks then I send a personal message. the effort is worth the time and I have made a lot of good friends here already, and I agree with you, be persistant in your effort unless you are told straight to Piss-off, Also complementing and liking pictures goes a long way as well as chatting and greeting in the pool

I have to agree with Ash, it tends to be mood. You take the time to tailor a message only to receive no reply at all. 

Worst still is getting a reply asking for pics then absolutely no response thereafter. I digress. But yeah if you have spent 2 hrs typing wonderful messages to absolutely zero response you start getting frustrated.

Nope... I have given up this time around...People JUST don`t read your written profile...they perv pics, then on the basis of that, they sent the usual....."I saw your profile, I Would Like to Know More"    as PoohC says.... or they are just lazy...they want to see if you will answer them with "Hi"  I used to answer BACK with a *Hi* back and then there is a overly quiet...after wards.......just saying....seemed/s to be people do NOT know how to write/spell anymore...

Now a days,  I just ignore those mails....after all,  I do STATE in my written profile...I am NOT active....I am NOT meeting.. I am only trolling on here, PAYING,  just for the Fora.....and I will NOT answer the above kind of mails......so anyone who think I am rude,  the joke is on them!!!!!

@pussinboots1.....Hi.  I completely agree, people here just don't read the profiles properly.  When will they learn...ai ai.  And if we ignore their effort and by effort I mean those emails that state just "Hi"  or "you're hot can we meet", then we get accused of being rude.    One can never win.  Anyways, hope you well my friend.  (formerly Jesinct) .

Well we ignore winks, often sent by people who have not read our profile which clearly indicates our preferences. 

And we get winks from not even close to what we looking for. We try to answer messages, but  when you point this out often the sarcasm flows.

Admit to having sent a few mistake winks while scrolling on the phone... and touching screen in the wrong spot.

Yip I have received a few slaps to the back of the head for touching in the wrong spot 😂

think at times we all take ourselves a bit to seriously...maybe sometimes over eager..then we get a wink and sigh hahahahahahahahh

@pussingboots1 I try and do the right thing and answer each and every message we get. I feel that if the person took the time out to send a message to us, the least I can do is reply.

This becomes a bit more challenging when you include all the other websites we have profiles on plus Twitter, Email & WhatsApp.

I also try and be as polite as humanly possible but I have to admit sometimes.... The universe tries to test me, by sending me some "Special" cases. At that point my Sarcasm Overtakes My Politeness.
