So I have a question does sh think a swinger resort in SA would make money and what would be the perfect location in SA and would you visit the resort I know alot of SA swingers are still very discreet

I do think we would have a lot of international visitors if one opens up

What are your thoughts fellow swingers

We would definitely visit, being around like minded people in a chilled informal setting would be awesome. Location is tricky, as it needs to be discreet and away from busy areas.

I personally believe that it would do well. It should be an hour or so away from a major city so it feels like a destination rather than just another club. These resorts are doing really well internationally and SA needs something like this. Hedonism II in Jamaica is a good example of a successful swingers resort. Visit their website and see what i mean.

However, this resort needs to be a 4 or 5 star joint with loads of amenities including restaurants, pools, spa etc. Not a rustic joint as those don't see much returning business. I wouldn't want to stay in a rustic 1 star place and expect a sexy experience. Hopefully someone with lots of money comes along and makes it happen.

I do agree it needs to be a luxury and sexy experience that makes people want to come back but it also needs to be a place that if you not in the lifestyle but want a naughty adventure you can also enjoy

Perfect example of such place is temptation in Cancun

We would definitely visit a resort like this . Even if it's a " rustic" resort . But by rustic it's ment as minimalist and classy . Not just some dump that you call rustic .

However , this can be less feasible in this financial climate , and might not be sustainable.

Another idea is to just book out a small resort for a weekend . And that is easier than one would think . We know someone with a resort that would be perfect for this . 👌

The demand for such a resort is definitely there albeit discrete, it will certainly do very well.

It would perhaps be a place to introduce new wannabe swingers to visit as well.

Nice topic.

Running any sort of resort takes quite a bit of capital and time. In an economy where the availability of disposable cash is retracting, I would question the financial feasibility, hence sustainability of a project such as this. It has been tried a few years ago in the Western Cape (with international markets) and from what I recall, in Limpopo, and didn't prove sustainable.

The other route is to open such resort to naturists, but just be aware that many naturists / nudists do not openly support or agree with swinging.

Personally I would agree with daphil on the model proposed by them, of hiring out a small venue / resort in toto for a given period such as a weekend and marketing that as an event rather.
