I have a new habit of trawling the gallery. Not much else to do on this site... Not for kicks, but to see the vast differences in body shapes, etc. Also as a form of searching without disappointment. I have noticed something that scares me. I fear AIDS and all other STD's. Getting infected with HIV is by far the scariest of all the STD's known today. It is essentially a death sentence... And a "not so lekka" life while you still live. HIV and AIDS exists! Period! It is wide spread in S.A. 15 minutes of pleasure can destroy your life. I am scared of it!!! Do not want it to happen to me EVER! I have kids to raise and a death sentence is not welcome... Intercourse without a condom is obviously nicer (sensation wise), but with one can also feel pretty good. I see many, many pics of mostly couples in the gallery where there is more than one males penis in or near the female - WITHOUT CONDOMS!! Are these mostly trusted playmates? Are they regular playmates? Were test results swopped before those pics were taken? Or were those people just not cared what could be lurking in the juices? Surely even trusted playmates are swinging with others too, so trust can not guarantee safety. I would never take the risk! I do not care how healthy and fit you look, or about the test results you show me - you could have contracted it after the test... Scary thought!!

Scary thought!!

Scary thought indeed. And I think all the options you have listed are very valid ones. I would however also add "copy and paste" to the list, as I reckon some of those scenes are just too perfect to have not been from a movie / photo shoot . ..
Agreed. Many are possibly fake pics as they do look a bit "professional" and I doubt that people are hiring professional photographers to take pics at a studio for uploading here... But some people are pretty eccentric so also would not surprise me. But some are definitely real and there are people doing this without protection. I wonder many members on here do infact have the dreaded disease? And know it? Or do not know it? There are enough members to guarantee a percentage of infected persons on here exists... Please, absolutely no offence or discrimination to anyone who lives with terror. Just saying that unsafe play just increases the chances of spreading it even more... If you have it, keep it for yourself. If you think you have it - all the more reason to use the love glove. If you believe you don't or a prospective partner looks too healthy to have it - cover it anyway!!!
I read the stories section as well ,and let me tell you guys I sometimes wonder if the people writing these interludes KNOWS what we the readers might think when they tell us how they swallowed globs of cum and licked it outa their partners what *eva*.. To me it indicates UNPROTECTED sex and UNSAFE play!!!!! It is as if they are playing Russian roulette with a no thought about what tomorrow might bring. I also make a point of going to browse their profile as to NEVER ever get involved with them in-case they fall into my mailbox. I may be old but still scared of any disease I could have prevented.
Hey all Scariest thing is that you're never 100% safe when it comes to involving someone else into your play. We would like to trust our instinct and believe some people really do look after themselves and get tested regularly but as the stats show year after year people hardly test for Hiv let alone simple Std's. A lot of people complain about the price of all these tests but looking after yourself is the first step to loving yourself in my view. Save up if you have to and make the right choice. Especially when it comes to someone else's life. Whether it may be a simple Std or Hiv. Still puts someones life at risk irrespective of classification of disease.
I'm glad to hear that we're not the only ones that are concerned about this.
Nothing is 100% safe, just like crossing the road or even watching too much TV.
Many regular people die in their sleep anyway (some not even old) and you just cannot stop sleeping.
I've done lots of research and have spoken to nursing professionals that have lots of experience in this field.
The Good News:
In short, if you only play with people that you have taken the time to build a trusting relationship with, have full STD test at least twice a year ( often covered by medical aid) as well as a HIV Tests every month or just before a playdate ( at DisChem) and always use Condoms, it is safer and cheaper than many other hobbies and activities
The Bad News:
Here is some info that many 'brave' swingers overlook:
1) HIV Transmission stats (as opposed to HIV Infection stats) indicate that it is actually not that easy to be infected, but these figures are based on vanilla sex. What we do, such as DP, is not vanilla.
2) HIV can be treated indefinitely but only if you live a stress free, regimented and boring life. Are you willing to give up all your fun and put yourself under house arrest for life?
3) Other STD's like Hepatitis B and Herpes, just like HIV cannot be cured.
4) Hepatitis B and Syphilis (Syph can be cured without permanent damage if treated early) are still very nasty, and can be lethal. Syph can actually eat up your brain and other organs long after the visual symptoms have disappeared. These two scare me more than HIV as they are easier to get.
5) Healthy skin, even the mucous membrane of the mouth and genitalia provide 100% protection against HIV but any microscopic damage provides a potential entry point for the virus. So kinky rough sex and greatly increases transmission.
6) STD's like herpes (HSV 1 &2) are only considered as a painful nuisance but it can greatly increase your chances of getting the lethal diseases, as they cause lesions in the skin.
Most South Africans have HSV 1 (also known as Cold sores or Fever Blisters) yes even you. Some have it from birth. Many are asymptomatic and carry no extra risk of other infections.
7) Candida infection (Thrush) is not considered a STD but it also greatly increases the risk of HIV Transmission.
8) NB!!!! The membrane of the eye ball provides no protection against HIV so the smallest drop of infected blood or semen just about guarantees transmission. Do not let a guy Cum on your face but in your mouth is much less risky.
9) STD's like Hepatitis B and herpes are much more contagious and even kissing or oral sex can easily cause transmission.
10) NB!!!! A person that has just contracted HIV is very contagious, within a day or two but will only test positive 20 days later with the latest test methods. Once the person tests positive it actually confirms that there are antibodies and the person will then be much less contagious. This leaves a 18 day window of high risk that is undetectable.
11) Many people are self serving or malicious and will lie about or fake their STD test.
12) Condoms can beak and do not stop all of the nasty diseases.
Therefore we recommend that you always use Tests & Condoms at the same time and only with people you trust.
You may be unlucky and get something nasty on the first misdemeanor but the more chances you take the more the risk escalates.
However the risk is yours, so the choice is yours.
More Good News:
Water based Lube helps prevent damage to the delicate skin of the genitalia and mouth.
It also serves as a block and helps to wash away many of these nasty bugs.
Natural lube from healthy horny people reduces the risk even further.
That's right good foreplay reduces you chances of getting infected.
We recently went to our GP and said the following: "Our lifestyle has changed and we require regular STD Testing"
He nodded, said: "OK", took the lab test form and ticked of the following:
Hep B (Hepatitis B), HIV , RPR /TPHA (Syphilis), Gonorrhoea & HSV 1 &2 (Herpes)
By law he was supposed to give us the HIV lecture but because he knew us, he did not see the need.
He took my email address.
We went to the lab. They checked our ID's and took some blood.
Our GP mailed us the results the next day.
Play safe and have fun.
