I was thinking, SDMR is right, sometimes it is good to resurrect a topic in a new guise.
So in an effort to join the trend:
I wanted to share a perspective of profiles.
Ok so we've heard all the arguments about profile content and people's opinions about status and gender and sexual orientation, but I don't think anyone had ever made and argument for precisely how to go about optimising ones profile content?
So note: we are not discussing racial preferences or things we hate about other peeps profiles.
I'm looking for positive ideas about how to optimise your content.
First - I premise this by saying that there are definite benefits to actually having content: for example, if you're not a conversationalist, potential playmates are going to want these answers about you, where you're from, what you want etc etc. If you put nothing in your profile you're going to have to socialise and chat so they can find out. You save yourself a whack load of effort if you write it all on your profile. One time. Done.

Profiles: how to use it as an effective tool!
For me personally, the profile that my attention seems Togo to see those that are complete. As lee says, detailing exactly what the person/a are looking for an wanting. Explaining a bit about them selfs and for me most importantly, te ones that come across as playful and creative.
As for my profile, I would like to think I have included those points that I look for.

Yes you have a great profile.
It does what I wanted to raise.
You remain friendly throughout and you have addressed the negative things that bug you like pic hunters and Race in a positive why, without Ranting.
You only have one open pic but it is enough to draw the attention of the kind of people that you like and may like you.
