In answer to your question in the subject line... Yes, it is! Anyone who does not see this is blind. Racial tension in this country is worse than ever. Almost everything is about race in this backwards country of ours. Just look around you.
The year is irrelevant. S.A went through a transformation some 20 years ago. Do you really believe that a regime change suddenly and instantly transformed all "racists"?
Racism exists - all over the world. Always has, always will. It is a choice and people will keep their beliefs. Have you ever thought maybe it is not so much about people "not liking" another race but maybe just "like" their own race more than others?
There is only one way get past ones own racism issues....... Accept that it is a reality and move on.
