I assumed it was people just browsing (online) versus people in the chat room (logged in). Maybe I'm wrong though, I haven't really thought it through.
No Adonis is right - "online" is ALL the people looking at the site, "logged in" are JUST MEMBERS logged into the site. so "online" minus "logged on" equals "total unregistered guests" 90% of the site is completely viewable to non-members who don't have profiles and aren't logged into the site. It's one of the things about the site that I have a REAL problem with. Our discussions here are completely public.

Which gives me the platform to ask the following in a hypothetical way:
With all the different members lately bitching about so many different things, is it not a good opportunity for the "site owners" to re-look at a few of the "rule & regulations"?
OR, is this maybe a uniquely South African thing, and not the same in Europe etc? with most of the people who are complaining just complaining because that's what we do best in SA?
I am on the Australia site of SH and the site rules are there the same as the South Africa site, and assure you what happens here also happens there the same problems

Thanks Adonis,
Although, Australia is a little SA. I read recently that there were something like over 80 000 people from SA living there
Already about a year on that site and not chat to anybody from South Africa. The people there only asked how safe is it in South Africa and that worry them
