Sorry all but it is now time for me to step up onto my soapbox and have a rant.
I have two issues with South African in the lifestyle.
1. People can not read, or they can but dont respect others enough to care. for example: we clearly state on our profile that mrs is straight and yet we still keep getting cpls and ladies trying their luck. or we state we will contact single men, and yet they flood our mailbox.
Come on people, lets respect each other enough to respect each others wishes.
2. This brings me to the next issue, why is it that people have incorrect or misleading information on their profiles, This causes one to have to filter through hundreds of profiles, find a profile or two you like, make contact only to find out that the information supplied is incorrect and you are nowhere near a match.
Thats like putting on your CV that you have a phd in Physics and when you get called to an interview you only have a std8. Total waste of your time and others.
Single lady profiles looking for cpls and when you make contact they inform you that they a cpl and looking for ladies.
Come on people is it that difficult to supply the correct information, its not like the people are not going to find out.
Sorry to prick your bubble, That people also not read the forums, but that's a fact. Go and look how many people read the forms, only people who are real in the lifestyle, Not 1%

Regular rant, and totally agree with you. The single guys think that we nasty with them though.......... Some are... Couples, single guys and single ladies are all guilty of being impolite. There are only a handful of respectful people on here. 90% must go learn some basic manners... Sorry for saying the above but facts are facts. This site (and others) have shown more about what I believed the world in general to be... People are not nice. Plain and simple. To the 10% of people on the site that are actually polite in messages, keep it up...
i must admit that i have been guilty on occasion of sending a message and i thought it harmless , but never considered the spam factor .i will try not to in the future.
As one of the oft malighned single guys, is it so very wrong, that if you find a couple interesting, to try to make contact? While I understand, and respect the writeup in the profile, why not ask if we can chat? No ulterior motive other than to simply communicate with people with similar interests...
That would be fine as long as their profile indicated that they were looking for people to chat with.
If not, then no it would not be ok. I'm often pushed into a corner where I have to day, "look, sorry, I simply don't have time for a chat only relationship. I have two jobs and I do assist my husband with Admin from time to time."
It's an awful position to be put in. There's just as good a reason that I ticked those boxes as there is for the content of our write up.
What is it with the manners thing? We saw it this past week...we put in effort to write decent mails, and then people will not be bothered to even reply. It's understandable that our profile will not fall into everyone's "taste"...but jeez, a simple no thank would be nice.

I had a look at your profile (insert thumbs up emoticon thingy here) and I would say that anyone who never responded to your messages was simply scared, because they could see you are the real thing. Try not to let it bother you, remember this site is a South African one with South Africans as members, manners are going to be a seldom found here.
Lol! Thanks SDMR...yeah, we decided stuff like that won't put us off...we have met some really cool people on here, makes the effort and nuisance of dealing with some of the "other" profiles worth it.
