Anonymous adverts yes or no

What do people think about anonymous adverts, especially those with zero background to them.

So far we found the ones in the dogging section without profile names a waste of time.

Wondering what others think?

So far yes its a total waste of time, maybe they can do away with the anon advert to make this site work, who would have an intimate moment with a person person who you know as Mr Anon who posts I am looking for a ####!

i often surf the dogging section..have no interest in partaking ...and wonder why people post there..there seems to be almost no response

The Anonymous dogging adverts do seem more and more to be generally considered a total waste of time...  and as more members comment to that effect, the message might eventually get through to the anonymous posters.  They are very seldom taken seriously.  You see that in the sarky comments, and the lower number of "views".  And invariably the posts where the folks are "no-shows" have been placed by.... Anonymous!!!....

You learn something every day. I did not know you can place an add or do anything else anonymously. I was lead to believe the anonymous were from members you stopped their profile after placing the add or passing a comment. How do folk expect to get head, or ahead, if potential respondents can't see anything about the people placing the adds? It just makes the mind boggle. I am all for removing the anonymous feature.

Bob969 we agree with you, anon should simply be stopped as a posting method, for all the points you mention.

No anonymous ads been approve perhaps if  it slips the finger of a Mod, yes the profile holder alter it after its approve and its a time effert to police it afterwards

Hopefully the anon option will be totally removed in time to come as this would assist the admins..

1. Anonymous add usually = Single male masquerading as a couple/female. Schitz and Giggles.

2. The dogging section should be renamed to "Gay Cruizing". Nothing against horny men wanting to hook up with horny men...   but thats not dogging ffs.

But back to the topic at hand.....the OP places an ad for something he/she is looking for. Then it goes without saying that the poster's name should appear in the ad/listing. Otherwise its just as good as allowing anonymous profiles....no way to see the profile of the OP and decide whether you want to react or not (and then you start getting all these forum topics of single guys crying cause "nobody wants to play with them"......"Mommy! The other kids are mean to me!" ?)

Privacy is acceptable, but the pure poor manners of 98% of anon adverts who post dogging locations yet never show up, post adverts and never reply on the advert.

Plus who is going to get intimate with someone you have zero background to, not us.
