I feel so disappointed and defeated. I just started chatting to a very hot dude, he sent me his pic on site. When we moved to WhatsApp, I requested other pics and BAM! Hi All, I have been here for a very long time. I have noted multiple profiles belonging to the same person / couple and how it is used to promote / vouch to get more popularity.

When being exposed, scammers try to set u up, lie and slander, put your business out there, send people to get info out of you, keep tabs on you, fabricate stuff on you and may even try to kill you. Friends and Family may get involved also. There is a gang of them that will also work together. Some will pose as really genuine, will meet you and use you to have fun in a very covert manner (you will not know what is going on behind the scenes) (Some will create a very nice image and persona. They will go to the extent of posing wealthy also 😁). They will get other people to look into your profile and report back 😁. Expect hacking and identity theft also. Your social media will be at risk. They will spy on your Facebook and invite your circle. Expect hits to be put on you also (Hush money will be paid for people to keep quiet). They will also project their wrong doing and malicious activity on you then play victim (smear campaigns 😁). They may call law enforcement for you and play victim (lie and project on you). Payments (People paid to lie) and manipulation will be done to try and make their lies seem true 😁. Consistent crowd seeking is needed for people to believe their lies and serves as a motivation for them to believe their own lies 😁. Cyber bullying is one of their tools and tactics. Tactics to knock you out, monitor and keep you quiet will be employed so they can continue their activities. Gaslighting will occur when you confront them which is used to deter you from the subject (Those involved with them will also assist to create doubt in you (they use violence and rage when they cannot get anywhere). Be wary when exposing them 🙂.

Seeing as social media is a risky platform in general, surely one should think twice before sharing on a platform that has links to friends , family etc. . .

I agree with you, but after being aquainted they will profile you and the rest goes down.
