Hello all Cape Towners.....

I know this started as a Cape-based thread, but there seemed to be a lot of subsequent interest in Gauteng as well.
But as usual, with these things, there seems to be a lot of general "I'm interesteds", but not much of a plan to make it happen, despite the fact that there even seem to be some interested couples and thus some potential female participation. This needs to be co-ordinated in some way...
So, for the Gauteners, if you are keen to do this, send me a message, indicating whether you would participate as a couple or a single, and specifically indicating what time suits you best - I can do weekdays during the day, but evenings and weekends are a lot more difficult to get away. So say whether you are available 1) only weekdays during the day, or 2) only weekday evenings, early or late, or 3) only weekends, or any combination of the above, so we can find a time that is mutually suitable. Something like this we would probably do outdoors, unless someone has a suitable indoor venue? I know of a few outdoor venues around Gauteng where we could do this.
If there is positive response, and a decent gender mix (i.e. not just a males-only group), I will set up a date and time, at a suitable venue, and give enough notice so that folks can plan availability for the date. Obviously, for privacy reasons, this cannot be announced on the open forum to the general public!
So, shall we see if we can get this to happen?

SOOOO, this idea seems to have run out of steam too!! To date (more than a week later) I have had THREE responses, one from a couple who can only make weekends, and two from single guys, one of whom can only do weekdays daytime, and the other can do weekdays daytime or evening.... So it's not really coming together!! I had really expected (hoped for!) a lot more response!!!
If no additional responses by Tuesday 12th, I think we will just have to drop the idea (with apologies to those who did take the trouble to contact me!)...
