I have the Sony xperia Z2
1. It's great for music.
2. It's kinda the geekier alternative to the common s5.
3. It trys to get me fit but I'm to lazy to listen.

Samsung S4mini
1. chose Samsung because I have a Galaxy tablet already, wanted something with Android
2. I like the usability, easy of use, logical working of the interface.
3. I knew what I could do with the features, and I like to maximize it's value

I am old school, I do have a cell phone from *toeka se dae* it`s battery is dying due to it being OFF more than it is On. A easy to use Nokia.I can not even find a battery to replace ,thus I have to go buy a new phone.
I do however put doing that, off, cause I do not know WHAT to buy, as I am not someone who is constantly on the phone. And detest people who seems to have even MORE than one phone and is always busy on it.
I find it disconcerting that people are becoming more and more RUDE by answering or checking their messages, calls, when visiting. Dining out, theater and where ever.
Something else I dislike is people who send you *call me* messages cause they do NOT have enough rude is that??
And how in the world does Your NUMBER get given to some promoting companies who send you some senseless *bargains*???
I really only give my Tellcom land line number to where in the world do companies get their info??? I always say I do not HAVE a cell phone, if someone wants it. EVEN MY WORK does not have my cell phone number!!!!!
What in the world are people chatting about when walking around a shopping center, that cannot wait until they are home?? It appears people need to develop a phone that you can just sort of plug in your ear, that can respond on voice demands to send mails and what ever, just by saying what you want done…..I think that person will be the next *Bill Gates*

All over the world people are allowing technology to affect their relationships and their sex lives. It seems that our obsession with all things digital can be damaging to our love lives in the real world.
I talk to couples who complain that their partners are always reading text messages or checking social media. One of my clients, who got married only six months ago, says his wife always has her iPhone nearby and sometimes even answers it when they are having sex. He feels he is second best and has become angry and disappointed.
It`s not difficult to believe that people touch their smart phones more than they touch their partners. But what does it say if your partner prefers checking his or her Facebook or Twitter account instead of joining you in the bedroom?
I rest my case!!!!!!!
1. it works ...voicecalls , whats app and all my mail accounts have data issues ...i know a lot of people who have to limit the use of their phones because its data hungry browser sucks so i dont surf the net with it....which has its ups because i would probably watch porn on it while standing in queues
it is over 3 years old and i get a day on the battery which is not bad and as long as it serves my needs i dont see a need to replace it
Sony xperia z,
1. Its bigger than Mike's
2. Quite handy size between so dont need to cart a tablet and laptop around;
3. Can use it for everything from gps, camera(at times a modem, managed to use it as modem, while making calls and running , bbm and browsing on it all at once without it slowing down), basically its replaced a whole chunk of other pieces of equipment. My camera i still use at times but only for longer range shot. Memory is large enough to not realy have to delve into using the SD card, but its there in case.
Seems to be more robust than samsung etc.
Then I also have an indestructible nokia lbj (little grey job) from 19 OH something, it still has the dot matrix style screen that has no color........

Mike asked us to say what our phone says about our personalities... I am a spender and I love gadgets. I need many phones and decide each day which one I feel like using... I do however enjoy my BlackBerry Z10 the most.. and used to dispose blackberry until this fascinating little piece of tech genius. Still hate those qwerty keyboard bolds! Those are for teenaged girls only!
Second on the list is my Iphone... amazing little device but unlike android and symbian os, you are charged for everything, even is a lovely $11 per month! But apart from that just great. I bought a DJ app that links to Virtual DJ on my laptop and I can mix away while in the crowd away from the DJ box! Now that is cool, the DJ partying in the crowd while mixing up a storm!

there is that and with android (aka googloid) phone you will probably sync your phone with your googleoid small car and go where you want to, somehow I suspect that Apple il not let the iphone x sync or interface with the google car............
wonder how you would run someone over who is also using an android celleryphone or for that matter who would give way in the event that most cars are googloid conrolle, the taxi or the car................ hm a 21st century question what was googled first
Today I went to investigate cell phones as I need a new one........( I even had Mike_Pta`s recommendation phone on a piece of paper so I could ask to view it)
I was confused by everything available...Man it is like shopping for undies!!! Everything looked great and seriously DIFFICULT for an old fogie like me, to use!!! and it comes on contract only...sooooooo as I do not swing/go that way,( I wanna buy my phone, and pay my airtime and not worry again...) I asked advice but decided to run away

Eish well advise is advice.... I went there........they have phones okay...some look easy enough to use....BUT they are really cheap looking and feel even cheaper in my hand (Not that I worry about prizes and what people will think me using a cheepie phone) but I want to LIKE my phone!!! Just like I LIKE my undies!!!!
So I have NOT bought a phone as yet.......might have to ask my nephew to go with me...so that he can advice me patiently like he always does!!!! He is a star in that way!
Ah PIB my husband feels the same way as you. He went off to Hi Fi Corp and got himself an entry level phone. It's so tough it's gone swimming in the pig swill and is still fine! I think it's a samsung and it does exactly as it's supposed to : Makes phone calls - he couldn't be happier with his R80 phone!
You'll probably want the next one up from that, that can receive MMS messages and get basic data, I think they would probably be called "the equivalent to a first generation smart phone". That should help you get what you want
Thought I would give you some back feed on my cell phone issues..
NEVER bought a new one, after the *cheap phone* incident I refused to go look at any phones
so last week MY GF came home and gave me a NEW Battery for my old phone...after I could not find one she found one in some little NON Cellphone shop.
I am in heaven.:thrilled::thrilled:
So far I am able to be available on the phone for 24/7 and the battery is only now needing to be recharged!!!! 7 days later.
